DESCRIPTION: Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Penn., "992B", 16 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted to 6 positions and temperature, straight line damascened nickel plate movement, with lever escapement, monometallic balance, double roller, gold upper endstone settings, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator, in a yellow gold filled, screw back and bezel open face case, with Arabic numeral, double sunk melamine dial marked Hamilton Railway Special, black steel spade and poker hands, serial #C427602, c1955
CONDITION: CASE: Dings and pin pricks; Scratches on outer surface of case; Gold filled with minor brassing; Plastic crystal; Minor scratches on crystal; Bow worn; Crown worn. DIAL: Minor marks and scratches, check at center. HANDS: Tip of minute with bends, tip of hour broken. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches on plate; Scratches on winding wheels; Bright work has minor oxidation, click, regulator, regulator spring, balance upper endstone setting. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks).
